I've now been working with property for half my life! After finishing A-Levels I successfully completed a Land Management degree at the University of Portsmouth, a property and surveying based degree which has stood me in good stead for my career. After graduation I moved to Newcastle Upon Tyne for a year to work as a general practise surveyor before returning to my native East Midlands to start my journey in residential lettings - first with Countrywide Residential Lettings and then for PWR Property Consultants.
Following the acquisition of PWR by a national corporate I decided that the time was right to branch out on my own, and use all the skills that I have gained over the last 20 years. I have previously worked in industry and trained as a management accountant. Around 5 years ago I decided to become self employed doing day to day accounts for small businesses.
Together with my husband we have invested in residential and some commercial properties over the years and when the opportunity arose to set up a letting agency with Robert I relished the opportunity as it was the chance to combine my experience of being a landlord with running my own business.
