Thornes Estate Agents
Nick Thorne, the owner of Thornes Estate Agents, is a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and has been in the Estate Agency business for over twenty three years. The firm is a 'Licensed' NAEA Estate Agent. A Licensed NAEA Agent is qualified (either by formal qualification or by many years of professional body membership). By choosing a Licensed Agent you can be assured of high professional standards, both in advice and customer care.

It is important that you are dealing with an agent who voluntarily follows the Code of Practice and rules of conduct laid down by their professional body, the NAEA (National Association of Estate Agents).

The firm first opened its doors in 1972 by Bill Thorne (Nick's father) who was a Chartered Surveyor and quickly became a successful business, carrying out thousands of surveys over the years for both private and commercial i.e. the Halifax, Cheltenham & Gloucester, Woolwich, Lloyds Bank etc. etc. and selling hundreds of houses. He also undertook the supervision of new buildings - residential and commercial in the area and worked until he sadly passed away in 2007.
