Karen grew up in Southport and after leaving school, went to College, then in 1982 to become Office Junior in the historical and highly respected Estate Agent, Hatch & Fielding.
Following promotion, Karen subsequently went to work for the prestigious Firm of H. H. & J. Robinson in Waterloo, Liverpool; finally moving to yet another long-established Southport Firm in 1987.
