Services
Based in Worthing, West Sussex, Castle Residential is a letting agency and property management business born from the necessity to have our own portfolio managed effectively, professionally and at an agreeable rate.
As letting agents we rent flats and houses and provide property management services all over West Sussex.
We rent flats and houses from Hove to Littlehampton and up to Washington.
Our tenants rent with us because we manage the tenancy properly.
If something goes wrong then we get it fixed and unlike other letting agents if the tenant is happy and the tenancy is extended then we thank them, not hit them with a charge to renew the agreement.

When you rent through Castle Residential, you can be assured that we will treat you fairly.
Our philosophy is simple.
A good property equals a good experience for the tenant and also for us.
So we make sure all our properties are up to standard and if we can't imagine ourselves living there, then we won't touch it.
If something goes wrong, and things do from time to time, it is our aim to resolve the issue quickly and properly.
When we manage a property, you know that we are only a phone call, text message or an email away to help with any problems that may arise.

We will meet with you to discuss your needs as a landlord, advertise the property and find you a suitable tenant you are happy with, we do all the viewings, take credit checks and references for potential tenants and set everything up, including submitting the deposit to the DPS scheme and preparing the tenancy agreement.
Then it's over to you to manage from then on.
Let us take the management headache away and you won't be left feeling like you have been robbed!
Everything you get from our intro service plus we will act as the ongoing sole point of contact for your tenants, day or night 24/7.

Please beware of this "business". I really hate to give even one star. All I asked for is my deposit to be returned to me after I was discriminated against because of my disability and left homeless after dealing with John and Castle Residential Lettings.
I am disabled and need a trained and certified Assistance/Service Dog (A/S Dog) to help me live. I had paid the deposit, was approved financially, and was ready to sign the contract on a flat when I happened to mention to John that I require an A/S Dog for my daily living. He became rather cross and told me "you said you didn't have any pets. You have misled us and therefore we cannot help you any further."
I tried to explain to him that an A/S Dog is not ever classified or referred to as a pet but rather a trained and certified animal necessary for the owner to live and function in every day life. I did not give false information or mislead him. I further explained the Equality Act of 2010 makes it against the law for service providers, including landlords, rental agencies and housing associations to treat disabled people less favourably because of their disability, or because they rely on an assistance dog or guide dog. A landlord may be required to make changes to any policies or practices they have which may disadvantage a tenant because of their disability. This includes making changes to a tenancy agreement. For example, saying pets are not allowed in the property should be changed to allow a disabled person to have their assistance dog.
I'm not sure if John or any one at this "business" read any of this information or any of my emails because from the point of being accused of lying and being dismissed, I was completely ignored. I sent rang and sent email messages begging and pleading that if they couldn't let me the flat to please, at least, return the deposit to me. Nothing. Nada. They completely ignored me as if I was nothing worth responding to. I'm not sure if you know what it feels like to be discriminated against for something you have no control over. The fact that you need an Assitance/Service Dog, a wheelchair, that you are hearing or sight impaired, or whatever you may need to live this life should not have any impact on whether or not you are allowed to let a place to live in. It is the worst feeling in the world to experience discrimination.
Honestly, I did not mislead anyone, I'm just trying to live my life as normal as I can. Would it have been too much to at least let me have the deposit back so that I may find another place to live? Well, since my emails and calls have been ignored for over a year now, I guess it is too much. Shame on you John and Castle Residential Lettings, shame on you.
I have all correspondence available should anyone have any doubts about my experience with this "business".
