My experience in estate agency goes back to the early 1980's when I joined a large independent estate agency covering the East London and Essex areas as a humble sales and lettings negotiator.
Due to the diverse nature of the business, it quickly became apparent that my passion was for lettings.
Over the years I have developed these skills, and am now able to deal with virtually any given situation, adopting a professional, yet 'common sense' approach.
Outside of the business, my home life revolves around my wife, Caroline & Hugo, our lovely little Bichon Frise.

Stamp duty is a tax paid by people buying property, although it varies slightly across the UK.
The amount handed to the government depends on where you are in the UK, and the price of the property.

If you're a first-time buyer and buying a property worth less than 250,000 then you will not have to pay a penny in stamp duty.
