Armitstead Barnett has roots dating back to 1890 and we are exceptionally proud of our rich heritage.

Here is a little information about our roots.
1890 is when Thomas Armitstead (the great-grandfather of Mr Geoffrey Armitstead) purchased a business then known as Corbishley.
Thomas Armitstead renamed the business Armitstead and was based in Lancaster.
Armitstead Barnett's Land and Development department is widely recognised as one of the leading experts in the North West with skills, experience and expertise across the board.
Our chartered surveyors are members of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers and have undertaken specialist training in all aspects of Agricultural Law so we can provide you with solid and thorough support.
Our in-house team of chartered surveyors and RICS registered valuers can provide advice services for many reasons from bank lending to matrimonial disputes.
