Skellens Estate Agents
We're selling our house through another agent and wish they were as good as you at communicating. It seems that once they got our instructions, we were forgotten about. I wish we had instructed you now and not fallen for their sales pitch.

I would recommend Skellens very highly, I had them to sell my house, they are friendly, make you feel at ease and gave advice were needed, I am pleased to say they sold my house within 2 days of putting it on the market, during the sale going through if you needed to ask anything, they always have you the time with a nice cup of coffee, cannot fault them at all, nothing was too much trouble 100% professional.I used Skellens to sell my Mums house after she passed away.

It was obviously a difficult time and I knew nothing about how to sell a house. Stacey at Skellens was fantastic and guided me through the process, explaining the procedure but also listening to what I wanted too. Nothing was too much trouble and I had 2 full price offers within a week!
Services
We gave the old "Boughey & Dalziel" offices a lick of paint, undertook our training, installed our furniture, IT and phone system and here we are today!
Fittingly, Boughey & Dalziel were a rarity in that their reputation locally was exemplary.
We can only strive to emulate that, but we are working from the same foundations and so here's hoping!
Our decision to open a truly independent, Wallasey only Estate Agents was the result of our own bad experiences on the local high street and hearing others with similar complaints.
We arrange a time to suit you when we can attend at the property to take details, measurements and photographs.
We will then contact you to discuss the valuation.
We will provide you with a bracket which will give you an idea of a possible sale price.
You then need to decide whereabouts you would like to pitch the price.
People differ when it comes to fixing an initial sale price.
Some want a quick sale and are willing to forgo the prospects of securing a higher sale price whereas others want to hold out for the highest price regardless of how long that process might take.
By virtue of statute, we are obliged to be registered with one of the governing bodies (one of which is "The Property Ombudsman").
We are duly registered with them and abide by their code of practice as well as our own.
At Skellens, our team have a legal background and therefore compliance with governing legislation is second nature to us.
We have personnel, systems and measures in place to ensure that we discharge all of our legal obligations to the consumer.
We were probably the most difficult clients with the most difficult property to sell!
Codes of practice dictate that Estate Agents must provide customers with upfront information regarding their fees and that such should include VAT.
However, what actually happens is that fee details are generally omitted, hidden in small-print or framed in such a way as to distort the real charging levels.

I would just like to take the time to say how pleased I am with Skellens and in particular Guy with regard to both the sale of my apartment in Chester and the purchase of my apartment in West Kirby.
Nothing was too much trouble and I was very happy with the proactive way you dealt with any queries/problems.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Skellens to anyone who needs a good Estate Agent.
Lovely to hear you are busy but I am not surprised as you are so proactive.
My mums house has been on the market with another agent for about 8 weeks now and there have been 4 viewings and no takers.
